Finland, Finland, Finland

Took the ferry from Stockholm to Turku after spending the day in Stockholm. We met with Joel Wickstrom (he is one of the conference planners along with Bobby P and others. He is also the pastor of a small Calvary fellowship in Stockholm). We saw where the meet and did some sight seeing. Arrived to gray skies and heavy rain. Still mulling over things from the conference. The walk of FAITH is adventurous but also difficult.  There are so many distractions and pitfalls along the way. Sometimes we don't want to do what the Lord is telling us we need to do. We say Lord with our lips but not our hearts. I will be sharing about this tomorrow night at Bible study.

The wonders of technology

We are finally back to civilization. Five days with no internet connection. I wonder how the early church managed?!
Anyway, the conference in Sweden was a true blessing. Wonderful teachings and worship. But mostly wonderful fellowship with believers from all across Europe (and America). I became sick while at the conference and I am battling the flu. MK was Bitten by a tick and had to have a doctor remove it from her skin. It was actually attached to her. We are now on our way to Finland to spend time with Bob, Mari and Russel (and the rest of the Turku gang). They all are such wonderful brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Time for breakfast. I will write more later.

Blessings in Jesus,
J and MK

update

Technical issues aside we are doing well in Karlsborg, Sweden. When we arrived there was no internet service and sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning the operating system on my blackberry crashed and I was certain I would be without phone service our entire time here. By God's grace there Tim had a usb cord that fit my phone and Simeon reloaded the operating system. The only thing I lost was my contact list. God is so good. We are enjoying beautiful weather, wonderful fellowship and we see the hand of the Lord at work in this place. Please pray for the Fuch family as there is much going on. Wisdom, direction , patience, grace, unity....

And so it begins...

ROC/ORD/HEL/ARN We arrive in Stockholm tomorrow (7/29) at 13:30 am. Our ride to the Fuch's will take approximately 4 hours. By then we should be totally wiped out. Thank you for your prayers. We will have e-mail access and texting as well. Feel free to post on the blog and let us know how things are at home.
